Leopard Opal is a vesicular basalt opal with flecks of opal colorplay throughout it. It's only found in one place in the world, in Hidalgo, Mexico. I fell in love with Leopard Opal the first time I saw it, and it took me nearly 3 years to find a reliable source for cabochons! I'm honored to share with you one of a kind pieces with this stunning mysterious stone!
A round Leopard opal cabochon is the centerpiece in this pendant. It's held in place by a fine silver bezel. Silver ball wire outlines the stone and small silver balls and cupped disks are scattered about. A protective amulet for a goddess!
The back of the pendant is stamped with my CL maker's mark, "STERLING" for .925 silver.
- Mexican Leopard Opal
