This ring features a purple opal from Zacatecas, Mexico. I don't know a whole lot about it because I bought it from a vendor a while back and she knew very little as well. (UPDATE July 6th: I just found out this stone is actually from Louisiana, but the owner had sent some material to get cut in Mexico)
The opal has undertones of purple, orange speckles, and blue and purple flashes within the texture. The opal has been bezel set, and small silver balls adorn the sides.
The top piece measures 5/8" x 5/8".
The backplate is stamped with my "CL" maker's mark and "STERLING" for .925 silver. The ring shank is a textured 3.2mm comfort-fit. Fits a size 7.
