This handcrafted ring features a natural Fire Agate cabochon from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Fire Agate is a chalcedony quartz with a special phenomena: iridescence, a rainbow effect created when light is broken up into spectral hues by thin layers. The deep brown base hue of the stone shows flashes of orange, red, and green, with more uncommon purples and blues. Fire Agate is a bold and grounding stone that gives the user a zest for living, enhancing creativity and expression.
The stone has been bezel set in fine silver, and bordered with decorative ball wire, and a round wire frame. Little silver balls and disk embellish the top of the ring, around the stone. The ring shank is a split, double half-round ring band, making the ring balanced and comfortable. The back has been stamped with my CL maker's mark and the word "STERLING" for .925 silver.
