A deep golden red amber is the centerpiece for this tactile pendant. Run your fingers over the rough side, feeling its smooth bark-like texture. The other side is polished to a high shine, allowing the raw side to show through and give the amber more deep color. It's nestled in a sterling silver frame and held in by asymmetrical 14k gold and sterling silver prongs. The frame is speckled with 14k gold and silver balls and discs.
This reversible pendant hangs from a 20" sterling silver paper clip chain with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
At the clasp of the necklace dangles a little tag with two stamps: my CL maker's mark and "STERLING" for .925 silver. The pendant is stamped "STERLING" and "14K"
