Leopard Opal is a vesicular basalt opal from the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. So far, it is the only area discovered with this particular opal! It is pretty rare and so pretty with its black matrix and white speckles throughout with green and blue play-of-color.
A big handsome Leopard Opal cabochon is the center piece of this sterling silver cuff. It's set in a fine silver bezel, and surrounded by sterling silver ball wire then framed by a 1/4 round wire. It's set into two split half-round wires that build the cuff. Two sterling silver moons snuggle up to the sides of the Opal. Each has a tube-set tanzanite set in the points of the moons. They've been hand textured.
The cuff band is 5mm wide and fits a 6" wrist. The back is stamped with my CL maker's mark and "STERLING" for .925 silver.
